I know, I have been a bad blogger. I actually have had a busy couple of months. I spent 2 weeks out west at family gatherings and I just finished my fourth wedding. I've been focusing on getting the photos wrapped up and posted.

Now it's time to catch up. In April I had an amazing opportunity to study once again with Mike Colon--this time in New York. He was in the city shooting a wedding fashion runway and decided to put together a workshop for the afternoon/evening. It was a delight! We first met at his suite at the Waldorf Astoria and then he took us to the streets to catch live action shots with a model. The choice for the bridal dress was a designer mini gown covered with hand sewn swarovski crystals. A lot of bling! After an evening of drawing crowds (everyone kept asking us if we were photographing someone famous), we gathered for dinner to exchange stories before heading off. It was a perfect night -- new learning, new ideas, new friends, new photographs, new food.

I've created a video to share my adventure. Be sure and turn off the blog music at the bottom of the blog before starting.
